Brother Ali, as always, delivers a humble and ubiquitously relatable message through his art - something that he consistently does at a superior level. Thoughtful, personal, and genuine, the album shines in a genre filled with decreasingly intellectual content and perspectives.
It's not as terrible as I thought it would be. But I can see where the hate comes from. The album feels uninspiring and nothing is original. The gimmick with the band is just regular pop rock you would hear on the radio with a banjo thrown in.

This album is a genre-hopping ambitious project. It is also kind of a disaster where for every success there is 1 or 2 failures.

Worst Track: Tremendous Damage
Overrated Tracks: Mama Told Me, She Hates Me and She Said Okay
