Destroyer boasts plenty of sound effects, orchestras, and choirs that paved the way for other bands to rip them off for many years to come ... Destroyer is easily one of the best albums in the Kiss canon.

Destroyer is one of Kiss' most experimental studio albums, but also one of their strongest and most interesting.

Now I see why this band gets so much hate!!!

Destroyer was the fourth American rock band Kiss album released on March 15th, 1976. Bob Ezrin, who has produced a handful of albums for one of my favorite artists (Alice Cooper), was brought in to produce Destroyer. Pinacle of arena rock. Loud, abbrasive, and full of character, Destroyer is KISS at the height of their career.

While Destroyer is deemed as KISS' best album, it really shows how mediocre the groups music was. I believe if KISS never had the cool outfits or had the flashy & pyro heavy live shows, they've never would've went as far as they did. So in reality, their Imagine is better than the music itself.

I’m only reviewing kiss because I grew up with a brother who was the biggest kiss fan, and I think this is they’re best album.

Detroit Rock City is a absolute dynamite opener, Shout It Out Loud and God of Thunder are both quintessential Kiss, Beth is a beautiful ballad sung by Peter Criss, and Do You Love Me has a great performance from Paul Stanley. I even think songs ... read more
