I hate to see this album beher least popular when its clearly her best. Incredible album but gets cheesy at times. This is totally worth your time. Has a nice merge between neoclassical and dark ambient.
Best songs: thanatos, marche funebre, ddmmyy, turbine womb, cynthia
Worst songs: the sun, spiracle

This is the debut of Austrian singer/songwriter Anja Plaschg. She wrote most of these tracks at the age of 18, but some of them date back to when she was 13.

This album is somewhat gothic; it's dark, but endearing. I would call it unpretentious and lovely.

"Thanatos" is perhaps the most evocative cut on the album. It's dramatic, without being pretentious. It's essentially about mortality, with Plaschg ruminating on the "kingdom to come" and her place in it. Musically it's ... read more
