I’m A Dreamer is never going to set the world alight with innovative new sounds, but these songs are perfect little gems that possess a timeless quality.
I'm a dreamer is just a transposition of very old music with contemporary methods. I retain nothing exceptionnal but still solid.
Her operatic inclinations don't always go over amazingly, but it's a perfectly likable set of indie-folk and blues tunes that sound much older than they actually are. The piano part on "Cabin in the Sky" is great.
