With a production assist by LA producer Alchemist, Boldy James' new My 1st Chemistry Set reveals an artist who has been steadily deepening, as a writer and rapper.
Vivid details throughout the album seem like ammunition for any possible prosecution team, so be aware, this one is brutal, nihilistic, frightening, and unforgiveable, but it's "eye for an eye" music with a creative spark, and a great step toward the realm of The Infamous.
Boldy James Review #1 & The Alchemist Review #2 "My 1st Chemistry Set" Album
This is a real good one. I love this randomized unique blend of Boldy & Alan here tonight. A lot of superbly generational tracks here. The first half is definitely better than the second here. Life-changing samples and beats tonight. A bit too many gay bars sadly :(

I don't know who of Boldy and Alch is MJ and who is Scottie, but consider this their first year playing together - some promise, some quality, but it'd take a few more reps under their belt before they'd really start cooking. Starts strong and the features come to play accordingly.
A Classic produced by The Alchemist. Wildly underrated work I've been bumping since October 16 2013
First time going back and listening to this and my only problem is i wish I did sooner. This js so good man. Boldy is incredible man.
10 years later, this record still holds up. Great production, could be my favourite Boldy project.
Choosing who did best here between Al and Boldy is one of the most difficult things to decide. Fantastic work on both sides and one of my favorite Boldy records, period. Rappies is my favorite of his by far.
