Lengthy guitar solos, pompous brass sections, psychedelic flamenco ballads and completely unpredictable song structures is what you will find on this one.
Their best album after their debut.
This album is definitely more latin-influenced than any other thing this band has put out. While it does contain some of their best tracks, the album is a mixed bag with some average songs and just lasts way too long as a whole. And this is coming from someone who loved the 1 hour and 30 minute 'Frances the Mute.' I do love it when Cedric sings in Spanish. Wish we could have heard more of that throughout their career.
Favourite tracks: Tetragrammaton, Asilos Magdalena, Day of the Baphomets
This album is really a work of genius. The only reason it doesn't get 100 is because there is little to no accessibility it takes a few listens to "get" this album but once you do there is no going back.
