I am a huge huge fan of the Manics, have seen them three times. This just wasn't for me. I appreciate the experiment and the new direction, but they seem lacklustre, lacking in energy and most disturbingly, bereft of ideas.
Essential Track - Let's Go to War
It still sounds fresh almost a decade later. Krautrock, experimental and so Manic Street Preachers. Certainly their best effort this side of the millennium and I'd argue, their best album to date.
