Baroness' debut album still holds up today as a legendary record in metal as a whole. At first they might sound like some Mastodon knockoff, but they definitely bring their own distinct sound with the massive, stoner rock influence and breathtaking, song progressions. There's not a single moment on here that feels out of place or monotonous on here. Well, everything except that untitled track.

Favourite tracks: The Birthing, Wailing Wintry Wind, Grad
