What do you think? |
For Majesty Shredding, their first album since 2001, they continue to do what they do best: make good alternative music without a care in the world. Except for all their neurosis and rotten luck.
But the real joy on the album lies in the little details, tiny and brilliant songwriting choices that bespeak all Superchunk's years in the game.
Returning with Majesty Shredding, their first full-length release in almost a decade, the underground legends don’t waste any time proving that they haven’t lost a single step
Whereas other pop-punk bands revel in sheer stupidity, Superchunk conjure up a profound musical purpose and sense of wonderment from behind every goofy-eyed chorus and oversized hook line.
