| WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Burst Apart is much more complex than its predecessor, both emotionally and musically.

Burst Apart deserves all the plaudits that can be thrown at it; albums are rarely as unashamedly, gut-wrenchingly, genuinely emotional as this.

It's all the more affecting for how it allows you to pick your own stumbling, lonely path.

Not only does Burst Apart rise to the occasion of following up an instant classic, it might even best Hospice in more ways than one.

Burst Apart shows The Antlers to be on sure footing, playing to their strengths, but confident enough in their own instincts to depart from some of the qualities that made them the indie rock wunderkinds of 2009.

Burst Apart is a passable follow-up to an incredible record, but that’s all it is. Passable.
chilled out indie, fantastic tunes, great singing, pure class from start to finish
