This is an album which bears repeated listening, and which deserves to become more than just a summer soundtrack.

They once again seem determined to jam just about every sonic element from all the FM-oriented records released between 1966 and 1976 into a vaguely modernized template.
D is easily White Denim's best-sounding effort yet.
Overall, D is a measured if occasionally overcooked beast that proves difficult to digest as a whole.
White Denim's D is a creative fusion of 70's jam band and progressive rock fused with the psychedelic tocuhed indie rock of the late 2000's and early 2010's for a strong effort.
