The bruised, bottomless beauty of Days suggests that growing up hasn’t always been easy for Real Estate.

Beats Per Minute

This focus on musicality over atmosphere allows for a solid set of pop-rock songs that succeeds on its own melodic merits.

Cleaner, sharper, and just plain stronger, Days is like a single idea divided into simple statements

What makes this band such an attractive late summer proposition is their tunefulness, their sunny outlook, their sheer positivity.

No Ripcord

The air of careful conception surrounding Days is one of its most unmistakable and undeniable characteristics.

Yet another generic indie rock album from Real Estate. This album feels poorly realized and comes off as painfully inoffensive. The band, however, improved significantly with their next LP.

It's All The Same. The album lacks so much and only gets blander on repeated listens. There are some decent, summery rock jams on here, but it's nothing to be impressed by. I appreciate it for being enjoyable and very easy on the ears, but it doesn't do very much for me.

Favorite tracks: Green Aisles, It's Real

A really plain and simple indie rock album. And I mean that in a good way. Some really solid songs here with some nice instrumentation and relatable lyrics.
