Outside of a few iconic moments ... there’s far too much of the same zipper-lined guitar work and push-play percussion.
I just wish The Drums would have tried to experiment and push the boundaries of the genre, instead of championing their predecessors.
It isn't awful, yet at the same time there's not enough substance that warrants attention for too many long spells either.
