America Give Up is a snarky, slacker-infused, PG13-rated outing of The Beach Boys. Jordan Gatesmith's voice crossovers well with garage and surf, which admittedly, isn't too different, but his baritone does help carry the album's straddling genres. Among all the snark, college humor goofiness, it makes for an album to listen to on the beach if you're that guy in the group that isn't afraid to be smug.
