One of the albums I'm perhaps most familiar with from Screaming Females and in many circles considered their best work, Ugly maintains a similar sound to the rest of the groups but sounds cleaner than ever here. That doesn't necessarily negate the raunchy aspects of Screaming Females sound; they continue to incorporate a great deal of energy and grit to their tracks.
