Diver by Lemonade

This is an album far more suited to bedroom introspection than club land euphoria.

True to its titular subject, Diver constitutes a daring leap for Lemonade, one that, at times, appears destined to result in a belly-flop, but recovers nicely in the end.

Diver isn’t a whole lot more than a potentially thought-provoking record rife with as many missteps as it is original ideas helping it emerge as just above average.

This is a safe record that sets up boundaries on a band that refused to acknowledge them for years.
