Paste

So many of its melodies tend to bleed into the background, and it takes time to pick apart what’s worthwhile.

65
The 405

A technically proficient record with some shimmering moments of genius, but for the most part it lacks long-lasting punch.

60
Consequence of Sound

The album touches on just about every idea that has made this group a big deal in the first place, but it lacks the sex-appeal of the group’s last full length, OMNI, and misses the adventure of Planet of Ice.

50
Drowned in Sound

All in all, it’s very technically accomplished and well put together, but Minus The Bear would do well to work out the melodies to hang everything on before jumping in with the production and effects.
