Immediatly when i put this record on i thought "sound like someone gave bedouin nomads electric guitars and a bunch of acid" and its awesome! Overall the feel is very middle eastern though i can't say for sure i suspect these fellas where influenced by the likes of Mahvishnu and Tanariwin.
Well i should say the rhythm is very middle eastern but the bass and lead guitars are something staright out of late 1960's psychadelia. All the songs have sparse lyrics with chants by the ... read more

Swedish, heavy psych that relies hugely on funky, tribal beats and acid-drenched, guitar arrangements. While the songwriting isn't the strongest aspect of this band, the insane amount of fun created with this style is such a fresh of breath air for modern psych music.

Just discovering Goat this year. These guys have really got "something" about them that I find really appealing. I think it's the vocal and rhythmic style that I'm connecting with. Hope we hear more from them soon.
