Joe is definitely not the Godly MC that he makes himself to be on the podcast but that's not to say he isn't any good. His rhymes are pretty simple and surface level but surprisingly effective. He definitely is a straight forwards storyteller, which I am a fan of, and his beats are good. I wish I could tell you what Joe does that puts himself over his peers that also use this style of rapping but you just have to hear it yourself.
This is Joe Budden's best album. Not a happy listen though, - with this album, Budden gives people a glimpse into his dark and at times depressing, world. A lot of artists create some of their best work when they work the sadness and depression they experience in their lives into their music. This is such an album - centering on Budden's woman problems, his suicidal tendencies, his addictions, and more. All Love Lost is a sobering listen, but a good one.

Budden brings a really personal and introspective album here. It's dark and depressing and it's really a journey through Joe's mind and what's been going on in his life. The only downside to this album is the run-times of some of the tracks, they can sort of drag on, but it's still a great listen all the way through. Best tracks- All Love Lost, Broke, Man Down, Slaughtermouse, and Love for You.
