Dave Vassalotti and Carson Cox have left behind the feedback-infused direction their debut had taken but this anodyne follow-up also lacks any standout tracks. Thus, though Cox’s vocals are much clearer on this album, there are no defined melodies with the six tracks so directionless that they blend into one forgettable and characterless listening experience.
