I really can't tell where this album came from, but, what I can tell is that it caused me, almost, the same excitement that I had when I first heard their unique debut.

This was the band's first album in 27 years, they renamed themselves to just Dexys, and this album is really more of a soul and jazz fusion album. I think it's pretty safe to say that this was much better than I expected. Not keeping their fun 80s sound is something they already did with their previous album, but evolving it further and making it a nearly hour long album was risky, so I'm glad it actually paid off.
