It honestly bewilders me why Prince, one of the most ecstatic and [sorry] revolutionary artists of the 20th century, would not realize when it was time to throw in the towel. Much like Rivers Cuomo, Prince just isn't able to capture the sheer power and enticing funk that his previous work contained. Of course, thus is the natural progression of artists.
