Dropkick Murphys aren’t taking their eyes off the rafters on their new album, Signed And Sealed In Blood, but they are throwing a bone to their longtime fans: a punchier, punkier grit.
Nearly two decades into their lunchpail brand of Irish punk, they’ve managed to offer up their most cohesive and heartfelt work in years, and that in itself is worth raising a glass to.
The album’s a solid listen, the band’s most consistent record in a while, and—more importantly—their most energetic set since Blackout.
Nah, this is great. I recently "reviewed" "The Warrior's Code" and I think that this LP is more consistent and a bit more memorable.
