A.V. Club

Imagine catching a fleeting glimpse of an artillery of tanks engulfed in flames barreling by your living room window, but by the time you dart out your front door to get a better look, it’s vanished. That’s how so much of Nails’ Nuclear Blast debut You Will Never Be One Of Us functions. The demolition is swift and the carnage scorched.

Exclaim!

On You Will Never Be One of Us, Nails are simply on another level and, though others will have a tough time reaching it, they should all still aspire to it.

No Ripcord

They’ve considerably upped their songwriting skills with a fervent desire that almost contradicts their bleak view on the world at large.

AllMusic
The band's devotion to unadulterated sonic malevolence remains unchanged. They know that the darkest corners of the human psyche have deep closets, and they would like to show you what's in them.

The Needle Drop
One of the most savage bands on the planet returns for a third album.

Nails make music for when you look at life and see little of value, for when you're feeling bitter and alone. On their latest, they make a little room for others to stare at the void with them.

I am not at all a fan of grindcore, or most hardcore music for that matter. But even I can't deny that this is an impressive album. Nails crafted 20 minutes of pure chaos, and although it may seem excessively violent and monotonous, there is plenty to enjoy throughout this project.

I don't listen to this album a whole lot these days, but I must admit, this was one of the albums that I had heard the most last year, and I hold this album very dearly to me right now. Whenever I'm in the mood for some high quality grindcore, I might as well go listen.

My first introduction to grind core band NAILS and what a gruesome and savage album to date. I'm not to familiar in the genre of grind core the only band i am well aware of that dabbles into that genre are Napalm death. This clocks less than 30 minutes which is great since it employs you with aggressive power violence and leaves you with no break. This is perhaps one of my favourite records of 2016 and will definitely have repeat values to years to come.
