If the album can be considered R&B proper, it’s one of the most consistent and fulfilling longplayers the genre has yet birthed. If you know R&B, you’ll know there’s no other R&B on earth that behaves or sounds like inc. do right now.
Their debut album is 11 whispered R&B songs, all textured, considered and thoughtfully constructed.
It’s the brothers’ effortless musicality that allows the album to transcend its component parts and yield something that is decidedly modern: studio precision in service of a streamlined sound.
The fearful funk of inc. isn't just summarised as another outlet for meditative reflection - every song on this record showcases unbeatable quirk-pop perfection.
inc. is both faithful to its source material and clever enough to twist it into new shapes, but at least for the time being, no world is unlikely to bring the Ageds out of the shadows.
no world expands the EP’s sound into a slow-burning stew of low bass, nervously ricocheting ticks, and rim shots.
Inc.’s take on RnB may be moody and subdued but No World manages to retain the air of an honest and heartfelt album by a duo with a deep-rooted love of soul and its emotive power.
There are no true standout tracks here, no sharp left turns, no energizing moments – just 42 minutes of inc.’s syrupy, sci-fi-esque take on smooth R&B.

Underneath a clear, blue sky , the Aged brothers experiment with the latest night grooves, looking for the right, blue-eyed r'n'b to match the sky. But did they take into consideration that these are two opposite directions?
Like a blend of Washed Out and The Weeknd, inc. are on to something very good here. However, the most intriguing qualities of those artists aren't present here - merely musical similarities. There is good songwriting here, and the album is very, very pretty. It's good to sleep to, to read to, to eat to, even though it's not incredibly interesting. They'll get there though. It won't take long.
