It manages to bring some energy and interesting tempo, however I find it more on the safe side than the explosive and inventive one where it should be. After that lead single that captured my attention, I was expecting Cody to be something more than a collection of the same of the same of the genre. It was always going to be tough for Joyce Manor to match the dizzy heights of the superb "Never Hungover Again", but with this release they've given it a good shot.
