The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here is up there with the best Alice in Chains albums, with each track a conquest of structure and composition.
What The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here leaves one with is a feeling that Alice in Chains have returned to the top of their game, confident and back on firm ground. The sludge factory is open again, and modern rock music is all the better for it.
At its core, The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here is a rock solid record that sees Alice in Chains settling in the confines of their own style.
The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here revels in being just a record. There’s no comeback, lineup reconfiguration, or memorial to be found here, only reminders of why an album from this band will always be welcomed.

The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here should’ve been the album that improved upon everything on BGWTB, but instead, it’s basically the same album but with less creativity, ... read more
Satan must've been real disappointed when God sent that meteor to kill all the dinosaurs
Alice In Chains' albums have always been struggles, but the thing about their earlier works is that the struggle is worth it. This album doesn't seem to have that magic.
