It's a bruising album that takes no prisoners, but perseverance is key, because it hinges on a moment in which everything falls into place.
There's a gulf between even At The Drive-In and how extreme Dillinger can be, but on 'One Of Us Is The Killer', they've finally written a record that bridges that gap while staying true to themselves. Absolutely essential, and maybe their best album yet.

Mathy Post-Hardcore, which even people who hate Metal-adjacent stuff will appreciate for its cocaine-fueled, yet compelling chaos
I never liked TDEP that much, but I gotta admit, this album slaps. The energy just can't be overlooked, the riffs go hard, the drumming is insane, the bass tone is crisp as all hell and the vocals are great. This time they incorporate some Alternative Metal elements, including a bunch of clean vocals, which work perfectly in contrast with the heavier parts/songs.

While I prefer the chaotic dissonance of Calculating Infinity, I appreciate DEP for writing more melodic and catchy material. And the good news is: they're pretty damn good at writing a hook.
It had some cool moments but I just grew tired of time signatures constantly being thrown in my face
Normally can't stand clean vocals on otherwise heavy albums but this is an exception, if there is such thing as a gateway to metalcore this is it but that doesn't mean this is vanilla shit especially the title track which is the musical equivalent of a jumpscare.
