A more expansive and generally quite successful follow-up to their criminally underrated debut -- not as immediate, but almost as rewarding. A couple of gestures to triple A radio here, but it's upstaged by a strong blend of Americana and indie folk with California pop, more focused lyricism, and a wisely expanded role for Charity Rose Thielen.
