Drowned in Sound

See You There isn’t a record in the highest echelons of this year’s releases, and it’s a far cry from the perfection of, say, the similarly heartbreaking Electro-Shock Blues, but it’s a genuinely heartfelt and moving, if slightly patchy, record.

PopMatters

See You There is still quite a marvelous record with many more peaks than valleys.

Consequence of Sound

See You There may turn out to be Glen Campbell’s swansong and, if that is the case, it’s a fair testimony to the man.

AllMusic

No matter how carefully constructed this whole enterprise is, See You There doesn't carry the same weight as Ghost on the Canvas. That felt like a fitting coda to a career; this feels like an afterthought.
