While a passing glance at these songs may not reveal many layers, his use of repetition and unfussy language afford Dual some startling emotional relevance.
Dual may have its hiccups, but there’s little question that Sampha’s talents are indeed worthwhile, even when they’re being presented on their own.

This is the Sampha I have been waiting to hear.... Sampha's second self produced EP came out just about 3 years after Sundanza and is a stark improvement in just about every way. This improvements come in the production, the vocals, and the song writing. This album may be shorter in length but I think the songs that stand out pack a much more emotional punch then one may have first thought after hearing his first EP.
