Wtf am I supposed be seeing with this cover lol

Yuck’s self titled debut album is a record that I’ve been coming back to quite a bit recently because of its highlights, so I wanted to check out their sophomore record to see what this one is all about. And yea it’s pretty good. It’s quite a step down though sadly imo. Some songs are just a little too bland even though they don’t sound bad overall. Luckily there are a couple highlights though. My revisit to this album was going fantastic at first.

The first track is a lush and layered instrumental, and the following track Out of Time served as a good reminder of the album's sound. Glow and Behold continues in the style of the group's first release, albeit slightly softer. It's dreamier, and a little slower, but still has that signature fuzz and distortion. No song exemplifies said distortion like Middle Sea, with its crunchy lead riff, forward drums, and proclaimed chorus. The album ... read more
