Lissie’s follow up to 2010’s Catching A Tiger was a triumphant return to form, blending expressive thoughts and views on current and social issues with this amazing 80’s Fleetwood Mac style and vibe which I absolutely love. Lissie found a great niche, blending a more soulful Americana style, and it's a knockout. The album transitioning is solid, seamlessly blending between rocking out, mellowing out, bittersweet to feisty, plucky to mature, and I never lost engagement. Every song is at least good if not great. Even those with poppy undertones, like Further Away or Sleepwalking, work a lot better than they seem like they will at first.
