This is the first great Sufjan album. Don't get me wrong, "Seven Swans" is really good, but from here on Sufjan's great lyrics are even surpassed by his ambitious composition skills. The 3 song stretch that is "Holland" to "Detroit" to "Romulous" may be one of my all time favourites.

A very delightful album with some great instrumentation. Sufjans voice is as always amazing. A very solid album
