I think this album's pretty overlooked, it's nothing to celebrate really but as far as collaborative albums in the hip-hop genre go, this is one of the strongest i've heard in recent memory. Solid track after solid track, again they're not reinventing the genre at all or anything, but Ghostface is rapping pretty competently throughout the whole thing and BBNG's production is consistently smooth and pleasant to the ears on essentially every track. I definitely enjoyed this album a lot more than any of Mark's other releases under the Sun Kil Moon name that i've heard, it was the most engaging to me lyrically and it had some pretty pleasant instrumentals too. However once i'd finished this thing, I can't say I loved it overall.

My primary issues are of course with the album's length, it does not need to be over 2 hours. There are tracks on here where I feel like Mark's lyrics tend to meander a bit too much and he begin's aimlessly ... read more

But it's just as vibrant and eclectic as any other AnCo release, if not more so, definitely worth checking out if you're a ... read more

I really like all 4 of these tracks, makes me even more bitter knowing that Skin could have been a way better album had he used some of these companion tracks instead, but whatever. I'm diggin these EPs a lot so far, hopefully they keep coming.
