HipHopDX

It’s a powerful introduction to someone who’s so often behind the scenes. And while there are a few missteps along the way, November effortlessly reinforces what we all know: love is one helluva drug.

Pitchfork

There’s a neo-soul silkiness to many of his songs, with an atmospheric, jazzy vibe in the production—November is an album for lighting incense, not candles.

Highsnobiety

On November, his first proper LP under the TDE roster, the singer-songwriter and producer asserts a unique potency of vibey R&B that bridges influences of the past to the present without feeling too dated.

Exclaim!

It won't be a white-hot success, but November is another solid effort from SiR that's ripe with potential.

Really average, but my contract means I have to decide between a 100 or a 0 and I like it more than I hate it.

This album had a handle of potential but didn't really live up to the expectations of the labels predecessors (SZA, Lamar). The lyrics are sophmoric at times, but the beats and vibe really save the album from being too much of a bust. There are also a few standout tracks (D'Evils, Summer in November) that help this album out.
