Bizarre that this was released with a blank side four. Bizarre that this is also a pretty neat record with some nice psychedelic guitar solos and usually interesting takes on traditional blues and rock and roll songs.
Recorded in Nashville during the summer of 1969, "Second winter" marks the extension of Johnny's original rock blues trio to his brother Edgar, so adding keyboards and wind instruments to the mix, dramatically broadening the sound and genre possibilities.
