If Kanye creates a new sound, if Clipping bring the noise, if those no longer with us drop the first ever collaborative mixtape from Heaven, ‘Veteran’ will still be one of, if not the most, substantial hip hop albums of 2018, that’s how damn good it is.
The Needle Drop

Veteran is sure to be one of the most in-your-face, off-the-wall and creative rap projects of 2018.

It makes for a breathless album, one that takes white-hot riffs and the most distasteful parts of our national politics, chops them up, and somehow scatters them perfectly into place.

This has slowly become one of my all time favorite experimental hip hop releases. It has so much under the hood, that when I first listened, a lot of it just didn’t even hit my radar. This is one of the most engaging and intriguing albums of the last decade

Veteran is a poetic and masterful LP akin to some of the greatest and most reveered hip-hop albums of all time.

☆☆☆☆ 1/2

Peggy is one of the most eccentric voices to behold... This is still pretty much one of the most abrasive and off-the-wall experimental albums to come out in the last decade. The Myke C-Town reference put me in a damn coffin, the amount of hilarious quotables packed in this record is astounding.

There's really no way to go wrong with 'Veteran', it's one hell of an indescribable ride that only keeps the listener intrigued as it goes on.
