After D.C's Rites of Spring broke up in 1986 three of its members Picciotto, Janney and Canty teamed up with Michael Hampton,formerly of Embrace and Faith, for One Last Wish. To me One Last Wish picks up right where Rites of Spring left off, but to say that the band is just like their predecessor is wrong. Michael Hampton's strong rhythm guitar with Guy Picciotto's arpeggiations is a stroke of genius that Guy would later use in Happy Go Licky and Fugazi. !986 is quite a bit cleaner than most of ... read more
