As they interpret their already powerful writing through accessible production, Milk & Bone set themselves up for stardom without losing who they are.

What Deception Bay offers is an amplification of their strengths: from dreamy reflections to post-relationship reckonings, the duo seem bolder, more playful, and more attuned to the nuances of their subject matter than ever.

"Deception Bay" seems to work between two lines: empty and whole but still enjoyable as one.

I really loved everything about this. The minimalist and still interesting production, light vocals that show so much emotion behind the tracks and lyrics that are both deep and whimsical.
Standouts: KIDS, Nevermore, Deception Bay

A good listen all the way through. Can't help but feel it is missing something though.
