Wish Bone is a middle ground between the electropop of Oh Land and the sonic experiments of Fauna, which results in a more inventive album than the former, but a more accessible one than the latter. Oh Land's third LP is a consistently engaging affair with a very strong first half and an interesting, if spottier, second half. A cute, but quite flawed album. The hooks are not nearly as gripping as her previous records, and the production does nothing for me. However, the music video for 'Renaissance Girls' is terrific and has a whole dance to it. More songs should have choreographed dances. I will say it feels more cohesive than some of her other projects. It is just an odd album.
