Beautiful electric guitar adult contemporary. Thoughtful, introspective, insightful, emotional lyrics. Genuine and clearly earnest songwriting. It’s all a bit unfashionable now, but it’s a great album.

The greatest, most-slept-on album i can think of. There aren't many radio songs except for the excellent "Daughters". The way he talked about love or moods or a lack of purpose or over thinking or breakups were unlike anything I heard before. This might be my favorite John Mayer album and one of the best ever.
