WHY ARTISTS, why do you put EP tracks into an LP.

Similar to Rejjie Snow, a flurry of EPs leading up to create an LP doesn't work,(Fuck I pray NIN, doesn't do the same with their three EP run) an EP should stand alone, otherwise it leads to an uneven listening experience.
As such the album was doomed from the start, if you haven't heard any of the EP's you might enjoy this? I mean I quite enjoyed the EP's when they came out but this LP not so much.
