They literally took out everything that was fun about the first project, and created some of the most dull music imaginable. The writing is awful, and the music sucks... until it doesnt AND THEN IT STARTS TO GET GOOD... oh Joe Hawley has creative control again... yup... this sucks.

Don’t get me wrong, I am definitely a big fan of this album. I think it is a much more consistent, solidly constructed work than Tally Hall’s previous escapade. This one's a grower for sure, but it's way better than Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum. I like this album far more than I can justify. It's just consistently good. I'd say it has less 'highs' than Marvin's, but the lows are so much more bearable and still decent, whereas Marvin's lows are actually awful. At worst a couple of the songs on this album are just a bit mid, but can be enjoyed nonetheless.

I think this is a WAY better album than Marvins and it definitely is more solid and consistent.
For me at least there isn't much filler or even skips, I just think sometimes the instrumentation and lyrics can be a bit odd.
Solid record, and I will stand by it.
