This album is intensely front loaded - Boys Noize goes some way to explaining why House and Techno is usually released as singles/smaller EPs. That being said, there isn't really a killer single on this thing either, unlike Vol. 1 which had 'Cerebral'. I do still mildly enjoy the first five tracks but they are a little repetitive and don't have much replay value - whereas Mayday, Boys Noize last LP - had much bolder hooks and transitions within each track.

Out of 8 tracks, I just loved 4. So here's why it has this score.

Mayday is one of my favourite electronic albums and although Vol. 2 isn't intended to be a successor to that project, both on ambition and quality, It's still dissapointing to see that half of the songs are quite bland and underdeveloped.

You might skip this one and wait for the next real big project from this guy, he really does make fantastic music.
