What the hell inspired Jeff to make this? Still pretty enjoyable, if I were a fan around the time Aeroplane was released in 1998, I would never have seen Jeff moving on and making this. Like throughout this listen I honestly forgot I was listening to something Jeff Mangum made. Overall, I really liked this album/the experience, might come back to it in the future. where is volume 2 though mr. mangum?!?!?

For those of you who love Neutral Milk Hotel but haven't heard this, def worth some time!!! Mangum's foray into the world of field recordings, with all the music captured at a Bulgarian folk music in 2000. Sound Collage type stuff, some real moments of transcendence on here. One 34 minute track. You need this in your collection.
