On the darker end of the post-punk wave, this album is well constructed but not too dangerously off the beaten path of the genre. The group have a strong sound that could inevitably become something even greater, but refinement is still likely needed for this group to have more of a breakout moment.

Favorite track: Doe-Eyed Girl
BAMBARA have come out of their Noisy cocoon they made for themselves years ago, making for easily the grizzliest Post Punk album you're going to hear all year. This album is absolutely dreary and often incredibly intense. But BAMBARA are originally Southern boys, and have brought in numerous elements of Southern Rock to make this album even more emotional and often more tortured sounding.
