As much as i enjoy Elvis' music i can't help but feel a little repulsion from the fact that he is called The King of Music or Teh King of Rock n Roll just because he's white, oe perhaps because he was white at that time. There had been many other more talented Afro-American musicians actually pioneering the craft od Rock n Roll just to be dismissed as some white folk copied their work and became more popular than them.
A rare glimpse into what a soundtrack with some artistic aspirations looked like. "As Long As I Have You" is one of the best Elvis ballads, ever.
