Muddy Waters' debut is sadly very overshadowed by its predecessor, Folk Singer, which is a shame because this debut is constitently enjoyable Chicago blues with very impressive vocals. The main problem i can see people having with this record is that the instrumentals are quite stereotypical and stripped back but i don't find this issue to be too damaging as Muddy Waters vocal usually carries my experience and enjoyment of this record
