Whitney Houston's second album is cut from the same cloth as her first record, but an improvement! The songs are sassy synth bops that postulate on the value of love as a coping mechanism for self-doubt. There are some of her most iconic tracks on this album. 'I Wanna Dance with Somebody' is ridiculously fun, I will never tire of its jubilance. 'So Emotional' has a chorus that makes me want to set myself on fire with joy.
